Facebook Group Management Essentials
Do you have a Facebook group? Whether keeping your business’
online presence alive or working as a social media manager, you will need all
of the Facebook group management
essentials to make the best of any Facebook group. Right? In that
direction, we’re rolling this article out as your perfect guide.
·
Turn on
notification: to watch over the activities of group members and be aware of
membership requests, you need to turn on notification. How do you do this? Easy.
There’s a button just below your group's profile picture. Click on it and
choose the option that says “manage
group” in the dropdown box. You get another box appearing by the left,
click on “get notification when people
ask to join”. Also if you want to monitor the comments on a specific post,
click on the arrow at the top right corner of the post to select “turn on notification for this post”.
·
Ask
membership qualification questions: setup three group-related questions on
the group for every new member before accepting them on your group. Be sure
that these questions are engaging and interesting. To add membership request
questions on your Facebook group, here’s how. Click on the button with three
dots below the group’s profile picture. Select “manage group” and then “membership
request”, then “settings” to add
three questions. This is a sure way of engaging your group.
·
Remove bad
members: if you don’t want anybody spamming that group, you have to figure
the bad member out first. After that, just click on the membership navigation
to click on the settings icon beside the spammer's profile. On the options,
click on “remove member”. There’s
also the option to delete their post through the past seven days.
